Our Privacy Commitment

ClassTurn is designed with privacy by default. We do not store student nominal rolls, exam rosters, or class lists on our servers. Your planning data remains stored locally on your device in your web browser.

Information we process

• Account Information: Your institute name, email address, secure password hash, and Google account identifier when using Google Sign-In.
• Subscription and Billing: Account tier, capacity limits, and payment transaction references. Sensitive payment details (card numbers, UPI, banking) are handled directly by PCI-certified payment gateway Razorpay; ClassTurn never sees or stores payment credentials.
• Transient Calculations: Timetable, nominal roll, and exam inputs submitted for generation are processed transiently in-memory on application servers and returned directly to your browser. These inputs are never stored in ClassTurn databases.
• Technical Reliability Data: Standard server logs (timestamps, endpoint requests, and HTTP status codes) to ensure platform uptime and security. Uploaded file contents and student details are never logged.

Local storage and backups

Your institute project data is stored locally in your browser. Downloaded ClassTurn backup files are encrypted and can be restored securely into your account on another computer. Exported Excel, CSV, and printed reports are saved directly on your local device.

Google user data

Google Sign-In is used solely to verify your identity. ClassTurn receives only your verified email address and account ID. We never request or access your Google contacts, Drive files, or mailbox.

ClassTurn’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Third-party providers & no data selling

We work with trusted cloud infrastructure providers to host the application, secure the account database, and process subscription payments. ClassTurn does not sell, rent, or trade your personal or institutional data, and we do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Data retention & your choices

Local project data remains in your browser until you clear it or restore a different backup. Basic account records are retained while your account remains active. You can request access, updates, or complete account deletion at any time by emailing sobisupport@gmail.com.
